Summary: As a Concrete Finisher, you will be integral to the construction process, responsible for shaping and finishing concrete on commercial projects. Reporting to the Superintendent, you will utilize core skills in concrete forming and finishing, alongside hand and power tools, to ensure high-quality results. Your premium skills in mechanical knowledge and rebar installation will enhance project efficiency. Additionally, your relevant experience in blueprint reading and carpentry will contribute to successful renovations and constructions. Requirements: Experience in site prep, form setting, concrete finishing, cutting and finishing to specs. Spread, level and smooth concrete: use of rake shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or powered screed and float. Must be able to read prints. Minimum of 4 years concrete finishing experience on commercial projects – walls, footings, and flat work. Hourly rate will be based on experience. A valid driver’s license is required and reliable transportation. Expected that experienced, skilled trade person possess personal hand tools.
Work Environment: Must be able to physically able to navigate construction sites. Physical activities include but not limited to climbing, lifting, digging, balancing, walking, and handling materials and tools. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Work environments will be project dependent. Projects could include indoor or outdoor work sites, loud noises, enclosed spaces, high heights, and seasonal temperatures.
