As a Compressor Mechanic I, you will be setting, maintaining, repairing and operating compressors in their respective area. You will also perform preventative maintenance and routine mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs on company assets.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do:

✔️ Performs preventative maintenance, daily inspections, and ensures tools, equipment, and parts are kept clean and in working order.

✔️ Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and completes repairs or modifications on equipment, consulting supervisors for accuracy and approvals.

✔️ Operates compressors, pumps, valves, and related controls to maintain proper pressure, flow, and performance.

✔️ Monitors meters, gauges, and instrumentation; records gas volumes, performance data, and submits required documentation (e.g., oil samples, operating logs).

✔️ Supports major equipment work including start-up, disassembly, overhauls, removals, and ensures compliance with emissions standards.

Qualifications:

About You (Qualifications & Experience)

We are looking for dedicated individuals who bring expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic to our team. Ideal candidates will have:

✅ High school diploma or general degree (GED)

✅ Minimum of two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

✅ Working knowledge of pneumatic and electric starters, fuel systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems, ignition systems and other compression related anatomy.

✅ Working knowledge of electrical systems.

✅ The ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

✅ Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.

✅ Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.

Your Work Schedule & Hours

- Work shifts up to 12 hours

- Overtime as needed

- 5/2 Schedule

- Hours may vary based on operational needs
