Nino Development is seeking an experienced HVAC Superintendent to oversee the installation, maintenance, and management of HVAC systems in commercial construction projects in West Palm Beach, FL.
Position Overview:
The HVAC Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the HVAC installation and maintenance processes on commercial construction sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing HVAC systems, leading teams, and ensuring that all installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
•Supervise and manage HVAC installation teams on commercial construction sites, ensuring all work is done according to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
•Coordinate and collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure efficient and timely completion of HVAC work.
•Review HVAC project plans, blueprints, and specifications, ensuring all work is performed to the correct standards.
•Ensure that HVAC installations meet all applicable codes, industry standards, and quality expectations.
•Conduct quality control inspections to ensure HVAC systems are installed correctly and are fully functional.
•Enforce all safety protocols on-site, ensuring that workers follow OSHA guidelines and that the site maintains a safe working environment.
•Train, mentor, and support junior HVAC personnel and apprentices, fostering a productive and knowledgeable team.
Qualifications:
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC systems installation and management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (Superintendent or similar).
•Strong experience with HVAC systems for commercial buildings, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
•Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
•OSHA 30-hour certification is preferred.
•HVAC certifications (e.g., NATE, EPA Universal) are a plus.
•High school diploma or equivalent; relevant HVAC technical certifications or training required.
