Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.

Duties

•

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.

•

Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

•

Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the appropriate materials and techniques for each project.

•

Install fixtures as required, ensuring proper alignment and finish.

•

Restore and maintain existing painted surfaces including stucco and plaster finishes.

•

Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and handymen to complete projects efficiently.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.

•

Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on job sites.

Requirements

•

Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or related fields.

•

Proficiency in fixture installation and the use of hand tools.

•

Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications.

•

Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.

•

Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

•

Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods, lifting heavy materials, and working in various weather conditions.

•

A valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites.
