Commercial Loan Broker

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Broker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial services, with expertise in loan origination, processing, and underwriting. As a Broker, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating mortgage transactions, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the loan process.

Duties

- Manage the loan origination process from start to finish, including application intake and documentation review.

- Conduct thorough credit analysis to assess borrower eligibility and risk factors.

- Negotiate terms and conditions of loans with clients and financial institutions.

- Ensure compliance with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and FNMA (Federal National Mortgage Association) guidelines.

- Utilize accounting software and financial software for accurate record-keeping and reporting.

- Collaborate with escrow agents, underwriters, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.

- Provide guidance on financial sales strategies to enhance client engagement and satisfaction.

- Maintain knowledge of mortgage servicing processes and current market trends.

- Uphold ethical standards in all dealings while adhering to Fair Housing regulations.

Skills

- Proven experience in financial services, particularly in loan origination and processing.

- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate for clients effectively.

- Familiarity with FNMA guidelines and TILA regulations is essential.

- Proficiency in Quicken or similar financial software for efficient transaction management.

- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships.

- Basic math skills necessary for accurate calculations related to loans and contracts.

- Experience with credit analysis, underwriting processes, and mortgage servicing is preferred.

- Ability to work with various accounting software systems for streamlined operations.

- Strong understanding of contracts related to banking and escrow processes.

Pay: $25,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
