Objective:
To manage a commercial irrigation portfolio by delivering high-quality, cost-effective irrigation services, supporting teams, and ensuring seamless project execution in collaboration with the Irrigation Director.
Key Responsibilities:
•Communicate regularly with Irrigation Director and site contacts to understand client needs.
•Oversee all irrigation operations in assigned area: scheduling, logistics, labor, and subcontractor coordination.
•Perform fieldwork as needed to meet demand and uphold service quality.
•Recruit, train, evaluate, and develop irrigation crew members.
•Manage paperwork for staffing, and operational reporting.
•Ensure compliance with safety standards and monitor team safety practices.
•Manage materials procurement, job costing, and site equipment.
•Assist with irrigation design proposals and client meetings.
Required Experience:
•4+ years in commercial irrigation (2-wire and conventional wiring, pumps, controllers).
•2+ years in customer service/leadership, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
•Hands-on equipment knowledge (trenchers, multimeters, pipe sizing, wire locators).
•Ability to read and create irrigation maps.
•Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
•Valid U.S. driver’s license and eligibility to work in the U.S.
Physical Requirements:
•Work in extreme weather (heat, sunlight).
•Lift up to 50 lbs; perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, twisting.
•Work in traffic areas and near bodies of water.
•8+ hour workdays, 5 days a week, with some overtime/weekend work required.
Additional Requirements:
•Must own and use a working smartphone with app capabilities.
