Commercial/Industrial Solar Designer

Solana Energy is a leader in solar PV system design and installation across Ontario. We’re seeking a skilled  Commercial/Industrial Solar Designer

 to help us deliver high-performance, code-compliant solar solutions to our clients.

What You’ll Do:

•    Design commercial and industrial solar PV systems using CAD-based solar design software (Helioscope, Aurora, AutoCAD, or similar).

•    Prepare detailed layouts, electrical single-line diagrams, and equipment schedules.

•    Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and installation teams to ensure efficient and compliant designs.

•    Provide design revisions and updates based on client feedback and field conditions.

What We’re Looking For:

•    Proven experience with CAD programs and solar design software.

•    Knowledge of commercial/industrial solar PV systems.

•    Understanding of current Canadian electrical codes (Ontario ESA knowledge is a strong asset).

•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation.

•    Ability to work independently and manage multiple design projects.
