Crowther Roofing and Cooling's story began in 1974 when Lee J. Crowther relocated from Chicago to Fort Myers, Florida. Seeking a market where he could practice his roofing trade year-round, Lee brought with him years of experience from his family's successful roofing business in Chicago.

Today, we are a fifth-generation family-operated business proudly led by Lee S. Crowther as CEO, supported by Kevin Callans, the President. Crowther Roofing and Cooling operates out of four strategic locations in Florida: two in Fort Myers, Sarasota, and Jupiter. Our team comprises over 900 dedicated employees and a robust fleet of 475 service vehicles. COMMERCIAL HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN (NO INSTALL)
•Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning, adjusting, and lubricating components.
•Repair:Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems, replacing faulty parts as needed.
•Troubleshooting:Identify and isolate problems within HVAC systems to determine the root cause and appropriate solution.
•Preventative Maintenance:Implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure long-term system efficiency and reliability.
•Customer Service:Communicate effectively with customers about system issues, explain repairs, and answer questions.
•Safety:Adhere to safety protocols and regulations when working with electrical components, refrigerants, and other hazardous materials.
•Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance schedules and repairs.
•Technical Knowledge:Possess a strong understanding of HVAC principles, refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, and control systems.
•Problem Solving:Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex HVAC issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
•Technical Expertise: Familiarity with HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, and control systems.
•Electrical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical schematics and wiring.
•Mechanical Skills: Proficiency in pipe fitting, welding/brazing, and basic mechanical maintenance.
•Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex HVAC issues.
•Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
•Customer Service: Ability to provide excellent customer service and address concerns.
•Safety: Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant regulations.
•Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry tools and equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environments.
