POSITION SUMMARY
The Commercial Service Technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems for commercial clients, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires advanced technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. OBJECTIVES
•Perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on commercial HVAC systems.
•Respond promptly to service calls, providing accurate solutions to client issues.
•Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and company policies.
•Maintain accurate documentation, including service records, work orders, and client communication.
•Collaborate with other technicians, supervisors, and project managers to complete tasks efficiently.
•Educate clients on system operations, maintenance best practices, and potential upgrades.
•Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in proper working order.
•Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and maintaining professionalism on job sites.
•Role may include some residential service work in addition to commercial.
COMPETENCIES
•Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, controls, and components.
•Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
•Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple service calls in a day.
•Strong communication skills for interactions with clients, team members, and supervisors.

•Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, meters, and service-related software.
•Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations and company protocols.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in HVAC preferred.
•Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC service, preferably in commercial settings.
•Familiarity with local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
•Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•Ability to work on active job sites, including standing, walking, climbing, and working in confined spaces or at heights.
•Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
•Exposure to varying weather conditions and potentially hazardous environments.
