Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Driver to operate various types of trucks and transport freight safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a clean driving record, and experience with flatbed. This role involves route driving, load and unload responsibilities, and ensuring timely deliveries across designated routes. Duties

- Safely operate commercial trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds.

- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.

- Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.

- Deliver freight to various locations on time, maintaining accurate delivery documentation.

- Assist with securing loads properly for transport to prevent damage or accidents during transit.

- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the truck during trips.

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.

Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type (e.g., tanker, flatbed).

- Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and delivery driver roles.

- Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred.

- Familiarity with different trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is highly desirable.

- Ability to load & unload freight safely using equipment like forklifts if required.

- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations related to commercial trucking.

- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents in recent years.

- Physical ability to lift heavy loads when necessary and perform routine vehicle inspections.
