The Field Service Manager serves as the front-line leader and technical expert for the technicians in the field, spending most of their time in the field to ensure safe, accurate, and high-quality delivery of services being provided. This hand-on role provides coaching and guidance to technicians, supports complex job execution, and oversees onsite job readiness, safety, and performance – including maintenance, installations, and service. This position is responsible for technical escalations, job site inspections, and ensuring technician training and truck inventory compliance. In close collaboration with sales, this role contributes to quoting accuracy, customer satisfaction, and warranty call management.
Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
· Coach, support, and guide field service techs in the field.
· Work with sales team on quoting accuracy
· Working with techs onsite with complex jobs
· Work with techs inventory counts and stocking levels
· Ensure Techs are trained and are technically capable of completing work
· Ensure truck inventory accuracy (stocked with right parts/tools)
· 90% of the time in the field
· Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
· A current and valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is REQUIRED.
· DOT Certification: Will be required upon hire.
· Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 60 lbs unassisted) and operate warehouse equipment safely.
· Forklift certification will be required within 30 days of hire date.
To perform this job successfully, the employee is frequently required to:
· Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
· Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
· Ability to walk job sites, climb ladders, lift 50+ pounds unassisted.
· Must be able to perform physical inspections.

Most of the time will be spent at various site locations, where there may be varying conditions, including exposure to outdoor environments where there may or may not be loud noises.
