We are seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while leading teams and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to maintain workflow and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, and clients to provide updates and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor material deliveries, equipment usage, and labor performance to optimize efficiency.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
• Foster a safe, collaborative, and productive work environment on all job sites.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent or similar role, preferably in commercial construction.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on schools, retail, or municipal buildings.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building codes in Southeast Texas.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or PlanGrid).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field is a plus.
• OSHA 10/30 certification or other safety training.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling or Building Information Modeling (BIM).
