Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction management, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires proficiency in various construction tools and software, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
Responsibilities
•
Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
•
Manage project schedules and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
•
Review schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
•
Utilize construction estimating techniques to prepare budgets and track expenses.
•
Implement quality control measures throughout the construction process to maintain high standards.
•
Utilize Prolog software for project management documentation and tracking.
•
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
•
Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
•
Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions.
•
Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in construction management.
Requirements
•
Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
•
Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including scheduling, , and quality control.
•
Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints; familiarity with Bluebeam & Procore software is preferred.
•
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
•
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
•
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
