We are seeking a skilled Concrete and Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in concrete finishing and using various hand and power tools.
Duties:
•
Prepare surfaces prior to concrete application.
•
Set string lines and forms as required by plans.
•
Use transit laser.
•
Set, cut, bend and tie rebar.
•
Pour and finish concrete per the specs with precision.
•
Smooth, edge, and joint concrete for floors, sidewalks, walls, and other structures.
•
Use rod boards, power screeds, power trowels, hand trowels, bull floats etc.
•
Monitor the curing of the concrete to ensure a durable, smooth, and uniform finish.
•
Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surfaces.
•
Operating skid steer, excavator, saws, mud buggy etc.
Qualifications:
•
Valid drivers license.
•
2 years experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role.
•
Proficient in working with concrete mixers and building materials.
•
Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
•
Familiarity with power tools used in construction.
•
Knowledge of carpentry techniques for formwork assembly.
•
Strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques.
•
Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
