Purpose: Setting up and operating CNC machines to produce parts according to blueprints, ensuring quality and adhering to safety standards while also performing basic maintenance.
Responsibilities / Tasks: Setting up and operating CNC machines (lathes, mills, etc.) to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications. Programming or modifying CNC programs to achieve desired results. Inspecting parts for quality and ensuring they meet specifications. Identifying and resolving machine malfunctions or issues during operation. Adhering to all safety procedures and regulations when operating machinery. Performing routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines. Handling and loading materials safely and efficiently.
Technical: strong understanding of CNC machine operation, programming, and troubleshooting.
Blueprint reading: ability to interpret and understand technical drawings and specifications.
