We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to fabricate precision components, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, blueprint reading, and the ability to utilize various precision measuring instruments. DUTIES:

The duties for this position include:

•

Developing, writing, and optimizing CNC programs for milling, turning, and other machining processes using CAM software (I.e. Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM).

•

Interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

•

Selecting appropriate tools, speeds, feeds, and fixtures for each job.

•

Setting up CNC systems for trial runs; and troubleshooting programming issues.

•

Collaborating with the production manager and fabrication team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

•

Monitoring and modifying existing programs to improve productivity and quality.

•

Maintaining thorough program and tooling documentation for future reference and repeatability.

•

Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

•

Performing other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

To be qualified for this position, a candidate:

•

Must have 2+ years’ experience operating and programming 3-4 axis CNC machining systems.

•

The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of G-code, CAD/CAM software, Fusion and CNC machine operations.

•

Must be able to work Monday through Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM and some Fridays from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

•

Must possess excellent math, time management, computer and people skills and have a strong attention to detail.

•

Must be able to perform the physical demands of the position, which include: working in a warm to hot environment, walking, standing, bending, twisting and lifting between 30 and 50 pounds throughout the day.

•

Must be able to successfully complete the required pre-employment drug screening.
