About This Job
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role is crucial in supporting the overall operations of the facility through effective cleaning and maintenance practices.
Duties
•
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
•
Conduct industrial cleaning to maintain high standards of hygiene in commercial settings.
•
Execute custodial duties such as restocking supplies, emptying trash bins, and cleaning restrooms.
•
Assist with floor care activities including buffing and polishing to enhance the appearance of floors.
•
Support residential painting projects as needed to maintain aesthetic appeal.
•
Carry out porter duties which may include moving furniture or equipment as required.
•
Engage in facilities maintenance tasks to ensure all areas are safe and operational.
•
Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Experience
•
Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
•
Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
•
Knowledge of floor care methods, including buffing and polishing, is advantageous.
•
Experience in commercial cleaning environments will be beneficial.
•
A strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential.
•
Must demonstrate reliability, responsibility, and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
