Housekeeper

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for our staff and visitors.

Responsibilities:

- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal

- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas

- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished

- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials

- Assist with floor care duties such as buffing and waxing

- Ensure all areas are clean, organized, and presentable at all times

- Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor

- Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred

- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and procedures

- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required

- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team

This position is required to work evenings and weekends as the regular schedule. OT Hours are available on occasion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.76 - $21.39 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
