DUMP TRUCK OPERATOR

This job analysis describes a regular job as a dump truck operator at Meisel Rock Products. Meisel Rock Products operates several rock quarries and also operates a construction business. A dump truck operator’s primary responsibility is driving a tandem axle dump truck, delivering sand and rock. The dump truck operator also will be responsible for driving a front-end loader to load rock into the truck at quarries where no activity is occurring. Workers will also perform occasional laborer tasks around the quarries or the main yard. Most of each work shift is operating the tandem axle dump truck, making deliveries of sand and rock to customers or contractors.

As a dump truck operator, they are responsible for the following essential job functions:

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
