Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in commercial driving and be comfortable operating trucks to haul aggrigate, dirt and equipment . This position requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service while transporting construction materials to designated locations.

Duties

•

Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.

•

Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, securing loads to prevent damage during transit.

•

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and functionality.

•

Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo delivered as per regulatory requirements.

•

Navigate assigned routes effectively while adhering to delivery schedules.

•

Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport.

•

Handle manual transmission vehicles with proficiency.

•

Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck both inside and out.

Requirements

•

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.

•

Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving principles.

•

Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures for various types of cargo.

•

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

•

Commitment to safety practices and regulations in all driving activities.

•

Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
