We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. Responsibilities

•

Operate various types of trucks including flatbed, tractor-trailer, and tanker vehicles.

•

Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to all safety protocols.

•

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

•

Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with all transportation regulations.

•

Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.

•

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding deliveries and any issues that arise.

•

Manage paperwork related to shipments, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.

•

Operate forklifts as necessary for loading and unloading cargo.

Qualifications

•

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.

•

Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong understanding of safe driving practices.

•

Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.

•

Experience operating refrigerated trailers is a plus.

•

Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading and unloading processes.

•

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing delivery schedules and paperwork.

•

Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

•

A commitment to maintaining safety standards on the road and at delivery sites.
