We are a reputable company specializing in gas plant demolition, surplus load outs, and laydown yard clean-ups. Our operations are focused within a 400-mile radius of our yard, located in Weatherford, TX. Ensuring impactful work in our state/local communities.

We are currently seeking a qualified CDL driver to join our growing team. This role requires experience in hauling flatbed, step deck, and end dump trailers. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their equipment, can safely and efficiently handle various types of loads, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Location & Travel Expectations.Our home base is in Millsap, TX, with convenient access to our regional operations. You’ll be covering routes and project sites within a 400-mile radius and occasionally further out when needed.

- Home Weekends: Most projects run Monday through Friday. Drivers are typically home on weekends.

- Planned OTR Projects: We occasionally take on longer projects in Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Oklahoma, with schedules running up to 30 days. These are planned well in advance, and you’ll receive reasonable notice for mobilization.

- Weekly Routine: Field crews usually meet at the yard on Monday mornings and return by Friday afternoon. In some cases, Sunday evening departures may be necessary for early project starts.

Responsibilities

- Haul materials and equipment using flatbed, step deck, and end dump trailers

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections

- Secure loads per DOT regulations

- Maintain clear communication with dispatch and field crews

- Assist with loading/unloading materials when necessary

- Represent RAARE Metal Concepts with professionalism on and off the road

Requirements

- Valid Class A CDL

- Minimum 2 years of experience with flatbed, step deck, and/or end dump trailers

- Clean MVR and current DOT medical card

- Ability to strap, chain, tarp, and secure loads safely

- Willingness to travel and occasionally work extended out-of-town projects or occasional weekends

- Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work in a team-driven environment

- NO DUI/DWI in the last (7) years

- NO Felony Convictions in the last (5) years

- 13/18 Speed transmission

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.50 - $32.00 per hour
