Job Description:

The Technical Professional is responsible for the assigned engineering and technical deliverables and activies on ongoing projects. Responsible for collaboratively applying techniques and analysis within the discipline/project.

•

Input into the preparation and scheduling of an assigned scope of work.

•

Working within discipline specific parameters and assigned responsibilities.

•

Providing input for budgets, schedules, plans, and reporting on the status of deliverables and activities.

•

Cooperating, collaborating and communicating with the Project Manager and other project participants to create more efficient project methods.

•

Reviewing specific tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions as assigned.

•

Following specifications as required for the project.

•

Ensuring compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications as warranted.

•

Other duties as assigned

•

Technical Knowledge, Years of Related Experience, Certifications Required, Equipment and/or Systems Experience.

•

Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering or a related field preferred.

•

Professional Engineering license or Engineer in Training preferred.

•

5 or less years field and project planning experience.

•

Computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.

•

The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.

•

Ability to develop Project management and supervision skills.

•

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

•

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

•

Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.

•

Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.

•

Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.

•

Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.

•

Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted).

•

Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.
