Estimator / Project Manager
A niche construction company with a strong base of repeat Fortune 500 clients, seeking a seasoned Chief Estimator / Project Manager to join our team. We offer general contracting services and self-performing site work across a wide range of project types.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Analyze project drawings and specifications to create detailed estimates for cost, time, materials, and labor
•
Perform accurate quantity take-offs to develop reliable project budgets
•
Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to prepare competitive estimates
•
Coordinate with owners’ reps, general contractors, architects, and engineers throughout the estimating and project management process
•
Oversee projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget
Qualifications & Requirements:
•
Minimum 5 years of experience in public and private estimating and project management (preferred)
•
Proven ability to negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors
•
Proficiency with estimating and bidding software (Sage Estimating, B2W, Agtek a plus)
•
Strong understanding of construction trades and processes
•
Capable of managing and estimating multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
•
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
•
Effective team leader and collaborator with strong communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
