Civil Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role requires a strong foundation in engineering principles, excellent project management skills, and proficiency in various design software.

Responsibilities

- Management of projects, contract administration, construction management, and design engineering,

- Coordination, supervision, mentoring, and management of junior engineers and technologists,

- Prepare planning reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents,

- Perform construction administration and general construction supervision duties,

- Work closely with our clients to ensure their project objectives are met.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in Civil or Environmental Engineering,

- Registration with EGM as an Engineer (P.Eng., or E.I.T.),

- 5 years (+/-) experience in engineering including design, management, construction supervision, and project management. Preferably for water resource related projects.

- Experience completing hydrotechnical assessments and hydrology as well as use of hydraulic modeling software is desirable.

- Self-motivated, with good leadership, project management and client management experience; and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $55,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
