Your Day – to – Day

•

Obtain Dominion Energy Civil Engineering Qualifications

•

Work with application specific engineering team to gain understanding for different system functions and system requirements

•

Review and Approve Civil Engineering plans developed by equipment vendor

•

Review and gain a thorough understanding of Application requirements as driven by design specifications, regulatory requirements, and software/hardware requirements assisted by the requirements lead engineer

•

Report activity status and communicate with all levels of owner/leadership

Who You Are:

•

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team

•

5+ years of relevant engineering experience Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering required, Master’s Degree OR PE preferred

•

Experience with design of steel and concrete structures or components (Pipes and conduits supports, Junction boxes support, foundations, etc.)

•

Familiar with industrial standards such as ACI, ASCE, ASME codes for lifting and rigging

•

Experience with seismic analysis and design for mounting components and equipment

Nice to Have Skills:

•

Finite Element Modeling

•

Experience as a Responsible Engineering at a Nuclear Facility

•

Experience with Software (Mathcad, GTSTrudl, STADD, ANSyS)

•

Nuclear Standard Design Process/Design Change qualification

•

Nuclear power plant experience

•

Familiarity with NRC regulations
