Duties
The Chief Inspector is responsible for overseeing all inspection activities across oil and gas facilities to ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and company policies. Key duties include:
- Chief Inspector- must have API 1169
- The Chief Inspector is responsible for overseeing all inspection activities
- Developing and implementing comprehensive inspection programs, procedures, and schedules.
- Supervising inspection teams and reviewing reports to identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to evaluate risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Implementing risk-based inspection (RBI) programs and utilizing risk assessment methodologies.
- Providing technical guidance, training, and representing the company in external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Continuous process improvement to enhance inspection efficiency and effectiveness.- Minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas pipeline inspections, with 5+ years in a supervisory role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in inspection management software and databases.
- Knowledge of relevant codes (e.g., API 1104, ASME B31.4/B31.8)
