Chemical Tech

Overview:

The Chemical Service Technician is responsible for supporting frac site operations by monitoring and maintaining chemical usage and inventory. This role involves gauging tanks, taking readings, logging volumes, and ensuring accurate reporting of chemical consumption. The technician will work closely with field operations teams to provide safe, efficient, and compliant chemical management at frac locations.This is a short-term role (2–4 months).

Responsibilities:

- Gauge tanks, track levels, and record daily chemical usage on frac locations.

- Log readings and maintain accurate records of volumes, usage, and inventory.

- Monitor chemical storage and ensure proper handling and transfer procedures.

- Communicate usage data and operational updates to supervisors and field teams.

- Support safe chemical handling practices in line with company and regulatory requirements.

- Assist with troubleshooting and adjustments related to chemical usage in the field.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment at frac sites.

- Work a rotating schedule of days and nights to support 24/7 frac operations.

Qualifications:

- Oil and Gas experience required (prior production, or chemical service experience preferred).

- Familiarity with tank gauging, readings, and usage logging preferred.

- Basic understanding of safe chemical handling and storage practices.

- Ability to commit to a short-term assignment of approximately 2–4 months.

- Ability to work in outdoor, field-based environments with variable conditions.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate recordkeeping.

- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

- Willingness to travel, work flexible schedules, and rotate between day and night shifts

- Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
