The Project Management department manages all the capital projects for Tallgrass including natural gas, hydrogen and ammonia transportation, and CO2 sequestration.
The selected candidates will work in the Tallgrass Project Management department in Houston, Texas. The intern’s main responsibility will be to support the Engineering Manager in the day to day running of a major project. You will become part of the project management team of a project
- To assist in the evaluation of technical bids and proposals, organizing bid tabulations, etc.
- To review data quality of third-party engineering deliverables
- To aid in presentation and schematic development of chemical processes in support of the project
- To assist in preparation of reports and ad Hoc tasks as requested by the Engineering Manager.
The basic tasks of running a large capital project and be exposed to the decision-making processes of project engineering.
Students actively enrolled in an approved bachelor’s or master’s Chemical Engineering program with expected graduation date of December 2025- May 2028.

Our internships are temporary full-time positions, in-person at our Houston, TX office. We will host our Summer 2025 interns from May-August for 10 weeks.
- Pay Range $23.22-$31.01 USD hourly.
- You may be eligible for a stipend to subsidize housing costs.
