Suncor Stainless, a leader in industrial and stainless-steel marine hardware has an opening in their chain manufacturing division. Suncor has proudly manufactured stainless-steel chain in the USA for over 25yrs and is looking for the right person to join their team.
The Chain Production Line Mechanic is responsible to support the operation of the Chain bending and welding machines.
The responsibilities of the position under the guidance of the lead mechanic:
· Day to day operations of the production line and listening to machines while in operation.
· Perform maintenance work through scheduled or necessary cleaning, oiling and adjustment of parts of plant machinery and equipment.
· Set up, adjust and assist in the operation of production machinery.
· Perform any required preventive maintenance, set-up, and repair work for all equipment within the chain production division.
· Repair defective pieces of machines and equipment by overhauling or dismantling machines that require major repairs to gain access to defective parts.

· Knowledge of welding theory and or welding experience.
· Must be able to work with basic hand tools.
· Must be able to read Vernier calipers or micrometers.
· Must be able to take direction and work independently.
· Must have forklift experience (or be willing to be trained)
· Must be able to lift over 50lbs repetitively.
· Must be able to stand, ben or, kneel, for extended periods.
· Must work in a safe and effective manner.
High-school or equivalent or related trade school or experience.
