Certified Welder Inspector

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our welding operations through thorough audits, inspections, and documentation control. This position requires an active AWS CWI certification, strong knowledge of welding codes and standards, and the ability to interpret structural drawings and specifications. Work Environment

This job operates in a plant environment. This job is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and radios

Physical Demands

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with overtime as needed, including weekends.
