Position Summary

The Industrial Electrician’s role is to safely maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant electrical equipment, as well as upkeep of records for sustaining cement operations.

Requirements* Must be methodical in troubleshooting with Safety and confidence as a top priority.

Preferred Education and Experience* 5+ years’ experience in cement or similar industrial experience required from mills, refineries, oil & gas or mining companies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS* A high degree of manual dexterity and accuracy required

WORKING CONDITIONSWorks in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, ice, rain, and in high humidity, and is required to work in all plant environments. The incumbent will be exposed to vibrating equipment and mechanical and electrical hazards and heights. . May have exposure to dust, cement, clay, gypsum, sand, diesel exhaust, lubricants, solvents, various fuels, etc. (See MSDSs)
