Cement Mason

Smoothens and finishes surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks or curbs to a specified texture, using hand or power tool, including floats, trowels and screeds. Lay concrete blocks and mixes cement using shivel or cement mixing machine. Operate power vibrator to compact concrete. Spread, level and smooth concrete using rake, shovel, hand or power screed and float. Mold expansion joints and edging tools, jointers and stright edge. Layout masonry work. Restore concrete surfaces using appropriate compounds.

*Special Wage rate: Work to be performed on DPRI- Funded projects and projects covered by Davis Bacon, Service Contracts Act, and/or Executive Order 14206 will be paid no less than the indicated wage rate, but may be paid more where special rates apply.
