CDL Flatbed Driver

As a CDL Flatbed Driver, you will be essential in transporting goods safely and efficiently using a 26' flatbed truck. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will utilize your core skills in truck driving and communication to ensure timely deliveries. This is a local, Monday-Friday position, no weekends.

Driver Job Responsibilities:

- Perform all required duties associated with operating and delivering product including maintaining paperwork.

- Observe and comply with FMCSA regulations, federal, state, and local regulations at all times.

- Will be operating 26' flatbed bobtail

- Follow instructions; locate and read location via GPS

- Pre-inspect and Post-inspect trip inspections

- ELD tablet is provided to log hours of service and to request maintenance of truck.

- Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.

Schedule/Work Hours:

- Monday through Friday, start time depends on the days deliveries and can be as early as 4am or as late as 6am.

- Although most days drivers will work 8 to 10 hrs., we are seeking drivers that have a flexible schedule and can drive OT when needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Must have a Class A or B license and have a minimum of 2 years of driving flatbeds trucks.

- 21+ years of age

- Must pass DOT physical and drug screen

- Required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds

- Experience and knowledge of traffic laws/ DOT regulations

- Able to pass random drug tests

- No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years

- Listening and verbal communication skills

- Dependability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
