Job Summary
We are looking for a safety-conscious and reliable individual with a valid CDL and a clean driving record to operate dump trucks in support of our daily operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to safety standards.
Duties
•
Operate a dump truck to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and asphalt to designated locations.
•
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition.
•
Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, including backhoes and water trucks.
•
Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate deliveries and pickups efficiently.
•
Maintain accurate records of loads transported and any maintenance performed on the vehicle.
•
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating heavy equipment on job sites.
•
Perform basic mechanical maintenance on the dump truck as needed to ensure optimal performance.
Skills
•
Proficiency in operating dump trucks.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and performing minor repairs on vehicles.
•
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
•
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices in all operations.
•
Clean driving record is a REQUIREMENT.
