Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including dump trucks, while ensuring timely delivery of goods. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations.
Responsibilities
•
Operate and drive different types of dump trucks.
•
Follow designated routes for deliveries and pickups while maintaining schedules.
•
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
•
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other necessary documentation.
•
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or issues.
•
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to truck driving.
Skills
•
Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
•
Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles.
•
Familiarity with various truck types.
•
Strong understanding of route driving principles and logistics.
•
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
•
Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and record keeping.
