Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver / General Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating & maintaining our Tri-Axle Flatbed and smaller trucks for delivering goods efficiently and on time. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage loads effectively.

Duties

•

Operate trucks such as tri-axle flatbeds and smaller trucks to transport freight to designated locations.

•

Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials during transit.

•

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

•

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.

•

Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

•

Communicate effectively with management personnel regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.

•

Utilize manual transmission as required for specific truck models.

Requirements

•

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with good driving record.

•

Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver with a strong understanding of truck driving regulations.

•

Familiarity with operating flat bed tri-axle truck.

•

Ability to load and unload cargo safely using forklifts & over-head cranes to prevent injury or damage to shipments or company property.

•

Strong navigation skills with knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.

•

Excellent communication skills for interaction with other employees and management.

•

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
