About This Job

We are ready to hire a dedicated and focused local truck driver to deliver on behalf of our company.

REQUIRED: CDL license, no restrictions and clean MVR

PREFERRED: One year of experience working as a CDL driver with no legal or safety incidents on record. Completion of professional truck driving educational program.

REQUIREMENTS:

•

Ability to lift 75 pounds

•

Make deliveries safely and on time

•

Perform safety checks of brakes, steering column, lights and mirrors prior to trip and ensure road readiness

•

Follow and maintain loading protocols, using chains and binders to secure cargo and re-checking their stability throughout trips

•

Inspect trailers before and after loading, paying attention to status of air lines and jack positions and adjusting them as necessary

•

Adhere to traffic safety regulations at all times, exercise caution in treacherous circumstances and report unsafe vehicle conditions to manager

•

Daily loading of sod including tarping and strapping load. Unloading sod at customer locations across DFW.

•

May require miscellaneous task around company property during down time including but not limited to: load/unloading empty pallets, unloading trees from other delivery trucks, truck upkeep and maintenance, etc.

Pay starts at $1,000.00/week (to start) depending on experience. Paid weekly. Direct Deposit available.

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm, occasional weekends. No nights required.

Hours may vary depending on deliveries needed for the day.

After 1 year of Employment: Paid Holidays, Vacation & Sick Time.

Medical Insurance offered after 30 days of full-time employment. No dental/vision offered at this time.
