CDL A Driver / Operator - Local, Home Daily - $34-38/hr. (Grand Junction, CO)

About the Role

Kathairos Solutions is hiring experienced CDL A Driver Operators to support our rapidly growing clean-tech operations across the Western Slope. This is a local, home-daily driving position based out of our Rifle, CO location, hauling and delivering liquid nitrogen to customer sites.

What You’ll Do

- Safely load, unload, and transport liquid nitrogen to remote oilfield sites

- Operate in mountain terrain and off-road conditions year-round

- Perform accurate pre-/post-trip inspections; handle minor truck repairs (lights, mudflaps, fittings, air leaks)

- Troubleshoot and maintain our nitrogen tank systems and equipment

- Complete logbooks, trip sheets, and delivery documentation accurately and on time

What You Bring

- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement

- Strong experience driving in mountainous and off-road conditions

- Clean MVR: maximum of 1 citation, zero at-fault accidents in the past 3 years

- Meets all DOT federal requirements

- Strong communication, safety focus, and attention to detail

- Able to pass pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screening, and background check

Preferred (Not Required)

- Cryogenic hauling experience

- Oilfield/off-road hauling background

Physical Requirements

- Operate and maintain nitrogen delivery equipment in remote oilfield environments.

- Driving (≈50%): Operate commercial trucks on uneven/off-road terrain; install/remove tire chains up to 50lbs in adverse conditions.

- Climbing (≈10%): Enter/exit truck cab and climb onto tanks/trailers 20–30 times per shift.

- Walking & Standing (≈10%): Walk/stand up to 2–3 hours on uneven, muddy, or icy surfaces.

- Bending & Stooping (≈10%): Bend, kneel, and stoop to connect hoses, secure fittings, and perform system checks.

- Manual Handling (≈10%): Use hand tools; lift/carry/pull up to 75 lbs.

- Equipment Maintenance (≈10%): Conduct DOT inspections and basic maintenance; may require crawling under vehicles or accessing confined spaces.

- Work Environment: Outdoor conditions with exposure to heat, cold, wind, and noise; required PPE includes FRC, gloves, hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
