CAD Designer and Technology Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer-aided design and drafting, with proficiency in various CAD software. This role involves collaborating with customers and general contractors to create detailed designs, schematics, and models that meet project specifications. The CAD Designer will play a crucial role in the development of innovative solutions for construction and mechanical design projects.

Coordinate upgrades to company ERP and pricing models with our vendors and consultants.

Responsibilities

- Utilize CAD Fusion 360 software and Adobe suite.

- Develop detailed schematics and drafting documents for construction projects.

- Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.

- Conduct design reviews and make necessary adjustments based on feedback from engineers and stakeholders.

- Prepare presentations using tools like SketchUp for visual representation of designs.

- Maintain organized documentation of all design work, including revisions and updates.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all design outputs.

- Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.

Requirements

- Proficiency in CAD Fusion 360 and Adobe software and WordPress

- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and construction processes.

- Experience in drafting and creating detailed schematics for various projects.

- Familiarity with 2D animation techniques is a plus.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.

- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
