Overview
RSCS is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled CAD & BIM Specialist to support the development and maintenance of highly accurate 3D models for nuclear infrastructure projects. This role involves the use of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Civil3D to deliver high-quality Building Information Models (BIM) and CAD assets for as-built documentation, planning, and compliance.
You’ll work closely with engineers, project managers, and field personnel to ensure digital models reflect real-world conditions and meet the rigorous standards of the nuclear industry.

- Support scan-to-BIM workflows using LiDAR and construction documentation.
- Assist in BIM project development, Revit model organization, and digital asset management.
- Provide technical input and support related to Revit modeling practices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and contractors to ensure design intent and as-built conditions are accurately represented.
- Maintain model documentation, file structures, and workflows in line with site standards and procedures.
- Coordinate with GIS analysts to integrate BIM and geospatial data.
- Generate model-based deliverables such as graphics, schedules, and quantities.
- Occasionally coordinate project modeling efforts with other team members (non-supervisory).
- Occasionally travel to project worksites.
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation,
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Civil3D, BIM 360, and Navisworks.
- Experience with scan-to-BIM and integration of LiDAR data is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of model coordination across multiple disciplines (A/E/M/S).
- Skilled in generating accurate model-based schedules and documentation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Effective at managing multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Primarily desk-based with frequent computer use.
- Occasionally may need to climb, crouch, kneel, or lift up to 50 lbs during site visits.
