We are seeking a
Procurement and Supply Chain Support Specialistto support the upstream unconventional business unit with procurement and supply chain management activities. This role focuses on executing commercial strategies through the request for quotation (RFQ) process, managing purchase orders, and supporting invoice troubleshooting. The position primarily handles PVFF/MRO, Sand, Chemicals, and Rotating Equipment categories. This regional role is based in Spring, TX and serves U.S. operations.
Responsibilities
- Request and validate vendor setup in procurement and accounting systems as needed. - Form, issue, and administer purchase orders and change orders valued between $10K and $100K+.
- Facilitate and analyze quotations across all business units.
- Assist in resolving accounts payable issues related to purchase orders.
- Conduct simple commercial negotiations, including terms and conditions.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure service and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with procurement managers, category managers, supply chain operations, and other key stakeholders.
- Support supply chain and materials coordinators with procurement activities as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 1-5 years’ experience in procurement, contract drafting (with legal support), materials management, negotiation of change orders, and supply chain/inventory planning.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Oracle/SAP, OpenInvoice, and PowerBI.
- Strong understanding of the full Source to Pay process.
- Excellent negotiation, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and collaborate effectively.
- Willingness to work overtime and/or be on call as needed.
Role Details
Location: Spring, TX
Pay: $42/hr (1099)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (40 hours/week)
