SUMMARY

Method Flow Products, A Roeslein Company, is seeking a Buyer I to join our team in the energy, mining, industrial power markets, and Integrated bio-energy solutions. This individual must have the desire to perform quality work safely, be detail-oriented, and have superior customer focus. This individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. This position is responsible for purchasing materials for domestic and international jobs, according to project-defined scopes and specifications. This person’s focus will be the procurement of electrical hardware components, steel, pipe, or consumables. In addition, this position is expected to become well-versed in Roestrac, Viewpoint, and company processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in an office and in an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as: dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. The ability to lift and carry 10 lbs. regularly is required.
