Job Summary
The Clark County Water Reclamation District is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Business Systems Analyst I/II (Plant Operations) position. This position will be primarily responsible for:
- Extracting data from, and uploading data into, various databases used by the operators of the District’s wastewater treatment plants.
- Analyzing data and performing research to improve plant operations and solve problems.
- Maintaining and improving technology systems used by plant operations to transfer and store data, including supporting and training users of these systems.
- Producing dashboards, graphs, presentations, and reports to study trends, deliver data, describe analyses, and display key performance indicators.
- Collaborating with personnel working in plant operations, control systems, the laboratory, compliance, and information/operational technology to complete projects and advance initiatives.
- Learning and using emerging tools to analyze and model data.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Business Systems Analyst I - Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Some business systems analysis experience is desirable. Directly related experience in a field related to the work may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of two (2) years.
Business Systems Analyst II - In addition to the above: Two (2) years of professional level experience in business systems analysis in a large multi-processing environment.

LICENSING AND CERTIFICATION:Specified positions may require possession of a valid Nevada Class C driver's license.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work extended shifts or be called back in emergency situations.
