What You’ll Do

As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial & operational activities of a region. She/he will manage a series of cross-functional individuals to achieve the financial targets within the designated timeframe, as well as acting as the key finance business partner for the general manager. Other duties include:

- Plan, lead, and control all financial responsibilities as established in procedures and guidelines set by the Company primarily in the areas of business case development, performance reporting, budgeting, forecasting and customer service.

- Financial Reporting – Serves as the primary contact for weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting

- Accurate reporting of monthly results, free of material miss-statement

- To ensure that the WO adheres to DNA accounting policies (must be supported by the GM).

- Manage AR, which includes – PTC, Credit Limit development and compliance

- Oversee the AR, AP, Customer invoicing & product shipments. Own the local PO process and responsible for resolving AP & AR issues.

- Targets lowest cost to do business without compromising operations and HSEQ standards

- Supports the bidding and quoting process, including preparation of financial models and preparation of business case documents

- Provides forecast based on sales data and market trends

- Drives the IBP process and interfaces with commercial team to review demand forecasts

- Ensures contract terms are upheld and contract pricing enforced

- Ensure Legal as reviewed and approved all contracts prior to being executed

- Implement proper inventory management processes and ensure operational teams are performing cycle counts and adequately accounting for obsolete and slow-moving inventory


What We’re Looking For:

- Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or other Master’s Degree preferred.

- 10+ years related experience

- Experience with P&L ownership and analysis, financial reporting, product pricing (retail), regulatory compliance and human resources

- 7+ years people management skills including leadership, performance management and coaching.

- Experience in the Explosives Industry, Operational & / or Commercial, or Small Business Management

- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite and other software, especially spreadsheet applications, SAP, Planful, PowerBI.

- Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player

En tant que Gestionnaire d’Affaires, vous serez responsable des activités financières et opérationnelles quotidiennes d'une région. Il ou elle gérera une équipe interfonctionnelle afin d’atteindre les objectifs financiers dans les délais impartis, et agira également comme principal partenaire financier du directeur général. Parmi les autres responsabilités :

- Planifier, diriger et contrôler toutes les responsabilités financières, conformément aux procédures et lignes directrices de l’entreprise, principalement dans les domaines de la préparation de cas d’affaires, du suivi de la performance, de la budgétisation, de la prévision financière et du service à la clientèle.

- Rapport financier – Agir en tant que point de contact principal pour les rapports hebdomadaires, mensuels et trimestriels.

- Produire des rapports mensuels exacts, exempts d’erreurs matérielles.

- S’assurer que l’unité d’exploitation respecte les politiques comptables de Dyno Nobel (sous la supervision du directeur général).

- Gérer les comptes clients, y compris l’approbation des PTC, l’établissement des limites de crédit et la conformité.

- Superviser les comptes clients (AR), les comptes fournisseurs (AP), la facturation client et les expéditions de produits. Gérer le processus local de bons de commande et résoudre les problèmes liés aux comptes fournisseurs et clients.

- Viser le coût d’exploitation le plus bas sans compromettre les opérations ni les normes HSEQ.

- Soutenir les processus d’appels d’offres, y compris la préparation de modèles financiers et de documents d’analyse de rentabilité.

- Fournir des prévisions basées sur les données de vente et les tendances du marché.

- Piloter le processus IBP (Integrated Business Planning) et collaborer avec l’équipe commerciale pour revoir les prévisions de la demande.

- Veiller à l’application des conditions contractuelles et à l’exécution des prix convenus.

- S’assurer que tous les contrats sont validés et approuvés par le service juridique avant signature.

- Mettre en place une gestion efficace des inventaires et s’assurer que les équipes opérationnelles effectuent les comptages cycliques et tiennent compte des stocks obsolètes ou à faible rotation.


Ce que nous recherchons :

- Baccalauréat exigé, MBA ou autre diplôme de maîtrise préféré.

- 10 ans ou plus d’expérience pertinente.

- Expérience en gestion de P&L, analyse financière, tarification produit (secteur de détail), conformité réglementaire et ressources humaines.

- 7 ans ou plus d’expérience en gestion d’équipe, incluant leadership, gestion de la performance et encadrement.

- Expérience dans l’industrie des explosifs, opérations, commercial ou gestion de petite entreprise.

- Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office et autres logiciels, notamment Excel, SAP, Planful, PowerBI.

- Attitude positive, esprit d’équipe, approche conviviale.
