Business Intelligence Analyst

The Business Intelligence Analyst is part of the Business Intelligence team and supports all financial and operational data functions for the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Manage, create, update, and schedule current and new reports

- Work to migrate current analytics into Qlik solutions including design and development

- Assist in providing solutions for process improvement and/or automation

- Assist in the development processes and procedures for new products and service offerings to internal customers

- Review and update system documentation and procedures

- Provide user training, support, and feedback Research client issues and work cross functionally to resolve

- Ensure appropriate problem escalation

- Participate in special projects, analysis and ad-hoc tasks as required by management

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Experience with the design and development of Qlik applications Qlikview 11.2 and/ or QlikSense or similar tools i.e. Tableau or Power BI

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Understanding or the ability to gain strong knowledge of various business processes (AR, AP, Inventory, General Ledger) and the integration between the systems in use

- Ability to create process documentation and procedures

- Ability to plan, organize, manage, and track multiple projects with constantly changing priorities

- Knowledge and understanding of relational databases

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, formulas, look-ups

- Experience writing VBA code a plus SQL knowledge a plus

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.

- Ability to adapt to a changing schedule as directed.

- Show excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to be a positive representative of the Company both internally and externally.

- Ability to work with respect and cooperation at all times with fellow employees and customers.

- Must be committed to working safely at all times.

Experience/Education:

- Bachelor's Degrees required with emphasis in Management Information Systems with BusinessAccounting courses preferred

- QlikView 11.2 and/ or QlikSense knowledge desirable

- Consolidation of large data sets from various systems

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in office environment.

Travel:

Minimal Travel required.
