As a Mining Specialist, you will serve as a key operational and customer-facing support role focused on the mining sector. This role bridges field operations, technical services, customer care, and cross-departmental collaboration—ensuring exceptional service and reliability across all touchpoints.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for mining customers via in-person visits, phone, and electronic communication
- Respond to inquiries and ensure timely follow-up
- Develop and maintain positive, long-term relationships with customers and vendors
- Support sales team efforts to increase Share of Wallet (SOW) at key accounts
- Represent and promote Senergy in a professional, dignified, and ethical manner
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the mining industry.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
- Negotiate and close business deals with mining customers that drive volume and profitability growth for Senergy.
- Develop strategies, terms, and conditions that align with company objectives and customer requirements.
- Document daily activities in the CRM system
- Assist in preparing proposals and tracking opportunities in CRM
- Produce and interpret customer reports related to product usage, efficiency, and service
- Develop an understanding of Senergy’s fuel and lubricant products and their mining applications
- Gain working knowledge of Chevron ISOClean and Reliability-based Lubrication (RbL) programs
- Assist in oil sampling procedures and cleanliness operations
- Support the maintenance and installation of sold and loaned equipment
- Learn the operation of bulk lubricant tank farms and equipment
- Understand and assist with monitoring customer product levels using various platforms
- Participate in filtering and fluid cleanliness procedures
- Safely operate light-duty vehicles
- Maintain familiarity with Senergy’s trucks and delivery systems
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal departments, including Sales, Operations, Safety, and Logistics
- Support companywide initiatives and assist in fulfilling cross-functional customer service requests
- Attend internal meetings, training, and education sessions to stay current on products, safety, and customer needs
- Occasional work is performed in an office setting.

- Three (3) or more years’ experience in outside sales in B2B environment or a related field in an associated industry.
- Familiarity with SPCC requirements and MSHA certification (or ability to obtain).
- Capable of working around heavy machinery and industrial environments safely.
- Strong customer service skills.

- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field.
- Sales or operations experience in lubricant and fuel industry.
- Experience using CRM Solutions and NetSuite.
- Knowledge of businesses in work area.
- Experience in Marketing in B2B and consumer arenas.
