Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of blueprints, and the ability to perform quality inspections to ensure that all products meet our high standards.

Duties

•

Set up and operate press brake machines for bending and shaping metal parts.

•

Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and tolerances.

•

Utilize basic math skills to calculate measurements and adjustments as needed.

•

Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.

•

Collaborate with team members to fabricate components using various techniques including welding, CNC machining, and laser cutting.

•

Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and minor repairs as necessary.

•

Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

•

Previous experience operating press brake machines or similar equipment is preferred.

•

Familiarity with milling machines, electrical discharge machining, and quality inspection processes is a plus.

•

Proficiency in blueprint reading and basic math skills is essential.

•

Experience using calipers and other measuring tools for precision work.

•

Knowledge of fabrication techniques including welding is advantageous.

Pay: $15.50 - $20.00 per hour
