Job Overview: A press brake is a machine pressing tool for bending sheet and plate material, most commonly sheet metal. It forms predetermined bends by clamping the workpiece between a matching punch and die. Typically, two C-frames form the sides of the press brake, connected to a table at the bottom and on a movable beam at the top. The bottom tool is mounted on the table, with the top tool mounted on the upper beam.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate and set up Press Brake machines

· Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards

· Read and decipher blueprints

· Have opportunity to cross train into different departments (laser, punch, weld, and machining)

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

· Accurately work with calipers, squares, gauges, protractors and other measuring tools

· Have good math ability and problem solving skills

· Read and interpret blueprints efficiently

· Stand continuously and lift objects up to 50 pounds

· Demonstrate safety in the press brake operation process
