Bore Operator/Locator

Looking for skilled and experienced bore operators/locators in underground utility work. Must be reliable and dependable. This position requires the operation of directional drilling equipment, as well as coordinating activities of laborers and maintaining a safe job site. Valid driver's license with good driving record required. No DUI/OWI convictions within last 5 years.

Duties and Qualifications:

- Operate and maneuver directional boring machines, excavators, and other machinery

- Locate bore paths with HDD tracking equipment

- Monitor equipment performance & conduct needed maintenance/repairs

- Read prints for placing conduit or cables underground

- Perform potholing and locating activities

- Ability to spot/expose & identify utilities after they've been located

- Physical stamina & ability to work in various weather conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
